What to expect

Run support groups, a helpline - the Carers Response Line , help carers access equipment to assist them in their caring role or provide funds so that carers can do something for themselves.

Provide carers with information, guidance and support.

Services include:

Carer Wellbeing workers

Individual support for people caring for someone with any long term illness or disability including:

Mental health; Learning Difficulties; Autism and Aspergers; Drugs and Alcohol issues; Parent carers; Young adult carers; and Dementia carers.

  • Relaxation sessions

Carers Response Line and information

The Response Line is open six days a week for Carers and Professionals to obtain information and support. All carers are provided with information, advice, guidance and support relevant to their situation. 

For people who are finding it hard to pick up the phone, or a telephone conversation isn’t convenient, Online Carer Wellbeing Workers are available to chat.
