Covid-19 statement

In light of the recent guidance from the Government CAPITAL have taken the difficult decision to suspend all face to face services. Sadly this means that there are no drop ins, locality meetings, coffee mornings, art groups or other groups.

Our Peer Support Workers have currently chosen to continue providing a service at the hospitals but we are reviewing this each day.

We will maintain connectivity, provide mutual support and enable an interactive supportive service via telephone, text and email. We are also utilising our internal Facebook group to provide information and assist people to make informed decisions.

Please contact us via telephone on: 01243 869662 for more information.

As a Pathfinder Alliance partner CAPITAL provides various activities. The following offer a few examples. Please contact us for fuller information:

  1. Monthly contact and locality meetings
  2. New members and other training

What to Expect

A few days before the meeting, someone will be in touch to invite you along and arrange you some transport if you need help to get there. If you need a buddy to support you at the meeting this can usually be arranged.

We meet informally, in a largish but welcoming group, sometimes we will have a speaker, discussion or other activity but most importantly derive confidence and support from each other.

A free buffet lunch is provided. The session runs for about 4 hours overall, although you are welcome to come for a shorter time if that suits you better
