Mental Health Support
13 Jul 2021

Mind, the national mental health charity, runs a scheme for employers, the Workplace Wellbeing Index. The scheme celebrates the work employers do to promote staff mental wellbeing, and supports them as they try to do things even better.

Every year, participants in Mind's Workplace Wellbeing Index are recognised through the Workplace Wellbeing Awards. This year, the awards ceremony took place online, with representatives of 114 employers present to see not just the top performing workplaces recognised but each and every organisation taking action to prioritise better mental health in their workplace.

The awards fall into several categories:

Gold -  employers who have successfully embedded mental health into their policies and practices, demonstrating a long-term and in-depth commitment to staff mental health.

Silver - employers who have made demonstrable achievements in promoting staff mental health, demonstrating progress and impact over time.

Bronze - employers who have started their journey to better mental health at work by developing and implementing initiatives that promote positive mental health for staff.

Committed to Action - organisations which have committed to addressing mental health in the workplace and are at the start of their journey

Employee recognition awards - outstanding individuals who play a key role in promoting positive mental health in their workplace.
