There have been reports that people are having trouble bringing forward their second Covid-19 vaccination, having received a text inviting them to do so.
When looking for new appointments online, people have to cancel their original 2nd appointment before making a new one - but sometimes earlier dates aren't available.
Patrick Brady, Vaccine Community Champion, has explained that appointments are made available in line with vaccine supply, and that more appointments are being added every day.
He advises that anyone who has had to cancel their original appointment, but can’t see an earlier date than previously booked, should continue to check back online - or call 119 - over the coming days and there should be availability.
