West Sussex County Council recently undertook a study to try and understand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. It included questions about mental health, as well as other factors. A summary of the results was published in July.

Of the 17,455 people who completed the survey 49% said their mental health had been negatively impacted by the situation. In contrast, 12% had found their mental health improved and 38% noticed no difference.

And while 6.8% of respondents said they were getting support with their mental health, 6% said they weren't.
