In response to the easing of lockdown restrictions, and how that may affect people's mental health, West Sussex County Council is launching a wellbeing and suicide prevention social media campaign in the coming weeks.

Part of the campaign is this podcast from Public Heath Consultant Daniel MacIntyre: Mental wellbeing and support - Daniel MacIntyre by WestSussexCountyCouncil (soundcloud.com)

The hashtags #ItsOkNotToBeOk and #KeepWestSussexSafe will be used to help people keep track of the campaign, which runs until 2nd May. The themes are:

19-25 April: Suicide prevention – friends and family

26 April-2 May: Financial support

Social media posts will also link to Sussex-based initiatives including Preventing Suicide in Sussex and
