We run group development sessions, where you can learn coping strategies to manage depression and anxiety, build self-esteem and improve communication skills. We also offer courses, such as wellbeing action planning, mental health toolkit and five ways to well-being.

Our group sessions provide you with an opportunity not only to hear from others who are experiencing similar challenges but to learn from them – and share experiences and coping strategies.

In addition, we offer social activities where you can meet others and build confidence as part of your recovery journey. Our social activities in Midhurst include:

  • gentle exercise (our 'Out and About' group)
  • poetry
  • quizzes
  • get togethers
  • badminton
  • "Active Minds", a group for people with early stages of memory loss.

You can also join other online sessions which operate across our West Sussex Mind support areas, providing more opportunities to socialise and to take part in learning and development workshops.

We also have a private Facebook group for adults who get support with us in Midhurst and Chanctonbury and a separate Facebook group for young people, aged 16 to 25, across West Sussex Mind.
